We went on our honeymoon and everything was perfect!! The sea accessible from our room was always open and really beautiful, and since it was shallow, we didn't have to worry about drowning! There were plenty of sharks swimming near the entrance, which was fun to watch. We could rent snorkeling gear and paddleboards for free, so we never got bored. Most of the time, the bars and restaurants were open, so we could eat and drink, which was awesome. The staff was very kind and we talked a lot. There wasn't anyone who spoke Japanese! It felt like a vacation! It was the best honeymoon trip and I would love to go back again!
The resort is clean and stunning, especially the villas, which have spacious rooms and beautiful scenery. However, the butler assigned to our room was not very attentive to our requests. Additionally, the staff in the dining area seemed poorly trained. For example, we asked if steamed rice was available, and the staff member said yes. After a few minutes, we followed up, and he assured us it was coming, but when he returned, he said there was no steamed rice.
It gives everything a couple needs in a vacation. In fact, I went for a honeymoon and got complementary cake for honeymoon. It is inclusive all. Hence, we don't need to think for any other cost. Great stay.
Excellent service overall. Will stay again. Great Rooms. Choose Sunset villas better than sunrise villas. Not enough restaurants. Food can be improved, but it's not bad you will still enjoy. Most service staff smiling. but some (srilankan service staff) needs to learn. Want to see more people travel here - the liveliness was missing because of less occupancy. In full swing this place will be awesome. To be honest I liked the privacy since not many people were there. The activities are way too expensive - if moderately priced more people would use the services and pay. The floating breakfast was exciting but food was moderate. Wee that's what you expect when you want to eat far away from the restaurant. I am happy.
“Our first Maldives trip.”
The first experience in Maldives, a huge Over Water Pool Villa with Jacuzzi. Room is perfect only lacking hand shower in the shower booth, only rain shower available. Food is very good, and we really like most of the restaurants and bars, also the staff are friendly. The ocean is very nice. The service was immaculate. I would like to thank Midhun, our butler for everything. Everyone is very helpful and giving great services. Also I want to mention Mishal for his service and entertainment during our meals, and Madhumali for her services inthe main restaurant and the Japanese Restaurant upstairs.
