We love this island Very peaceful boutique hotel.
Our experience at Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru is nothing short of fantastic. You can view our long review (w/ more picture) on TripAdvisor, but long story short: this is a 10/10 resort, and we've been to many around the world. Prices in Maldives are high, and there are many choices, but Vabbinfaru is close to the airport (low transport cost) and is simply amazing. The ocean villa is even better than our over the water room at another Maldivian resort. Remember, you are booking an entire villa with front yard and back yard (a beach leading directly to the ocean) so don't compare the price to a 300sqft hotel room. Restaurants on the island are great and priced fairly well too. Ala carte dining wasn't as expensive as we thought ($25-$40 per entree). Included breakfast was great.
From the moment of arrival I felt welcomed and special . Villa exceeded all my expectations. Biggest thanks to all the staff for their smiles and care! Would love to comeback one day!
