Friendly staff and great location with so many nearby tourist attractions such as pavilion, lot 10, sg wang and many more. However, parking space is limited to no less than 10 cars I think. Luckily, I arrived early & managed to secure a space. Not sure the ramp provided could be elevated for additional car space.
Efficient check-in/out. Stayed for birthday, room was decorated with balloons & received chocolates. Tasty buffet breakfast. One of the few hotel that has also a good spread of teatime buffet with wine! Staff Anamul was fast & remembers the guests's orders..Security guard manning the entrance was so helpful in carrying luggage.. Very satisfying stay..Definitely recommended
I recently stayed at The Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel for a family staycation, and it was truly a pleasant experience. • Check-in & Service: From the entrance, the hotel feels spacious and welcoming. The staff at the counter (especially the two gentlemen during check-in) were extremely helpful and approachable, which made us feel very much at home. • Room: We stayed in a room with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed — perfectly suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids. The room was comfortable, though there was no closet provided. However, there was still ample space to place our luggage, so it wasn’t an issue. • Birthday Decoration: Two days prior to check-in, I requested a small decoration for my daughter’s 8th birthday. I had very minimal expectations, but the effort the hotel put in was far beyond what I imagined. It was such a touching gesture, and my family truly appreciated it. • Refreshments: I checked in around 3.30pm, and the staff informed me there was a refreshment session from 3pm–5pm. The food selection was surprisingly good, with plenty of choices — and most importantly, there was coffee! • Swimming Pool: The pool comes with a mini bar. When my family and I went for a swim, there were no other guests, so it felt like having a private pool all to ourselves — very enjoyable and relaxing. • Location: Extremely strategic. Less than 10 minutes to Jalan Alor, and just about 5 minutes to Bukit Bintang and Lot 10. We simply parked our car at the hotel and walked around the nearby tourist spots. • Kids Friendly: At check-out, my kids received goodies from the hotel, which was a delightful surprise and shows how family-friendly this hotel is. This was my second time staying here, and I will definitely return again for future staycations. Thank you, KL Journal Hotel, for such a wonderful experience! ❤️
The stay was great ,there's a open air bar with swimming pool at level 11 with delicious food and refreshing mocktails (Fruit Punch reccomended). Room was comfy and clean ,no noise, toilet was clean and comfy. Just that the carpark space was very small and constrained, large vehicles like suv are hard to park. But there's also light refreshments foc from 3pm to 5pm ,and it's free flow so it's really good stay and experience for me ,near Bukit Bintang and Jalan Alor street.
“Exceptional”
Love this hotel. Great location in the heart of Bukit Bintang. Friendly staff. Free afternoon tea. The only area for improvement is the gym. But I would still stay here again.
