Stay was totally awesome and located in the middle of many trees. It was monsoon season and raining, place was very nice.
We had booked a four night stay at the Leela cottages in a superior luxury cottage. Though it had a very rustic feel, the cottages itself weren’t well maintained. The main door had huge gaps through which people could see easily inside. The cottage which we got was close to the restaurant and the next door shack so there was no dearth of noise upto 4am. I did mention to them while booking I have come to celebrate my anniversary and would like a cottage that would be private and more peaceful, but didn’t get both. To make matters worse the intercom stopped working (as there was a short and the current was passing through the phone) they shifted us to another room which was smaller. The only plus was it was a better room than the superior luxury cottage. The service also was very slow had to wait over an hour to get water or the kettle replaced as it was stinking(not sure what it was used for earlier, also surprising as they have been hailed for their sanitisation on agoda so this shouldn’t have been an issue). The food order from the garden cafe on day 1 was good but on day 2 the paneer Lababdar had huge chunks of paneer and fudge browny was hard as a rock. All in all go for luxury cottages if you don’t mind these things and if the rooms are around 3000Rs(incl tax) else there are way better options in Morjim.
nice location, good staff, cud have added more options in breakfast.
They call it rustic but hiding the dirt behind rustic. It's absolutely disgusting with terrible staff and terrible food. Rooms are dirty full of insects. Bathrooms are dirty. Staff looks disgusting and as if not taken shower since ages. Please please please avoid this property at any cost
“Excellent”
We stayed in the Grand cottage for 2 nights. It was beautiful and quite spacious. The property was beautiful, right at the beach with a lot of greenery and a pool overlooking the sea. We did not have our meals there but they do have a restaurant. One small portion of the wooden ceiling over the tea table was likely infested with termites . The management should take this into notice and repair it. Overall a pleasant stay 👍🏻
