Haddington House is not only a beautiful but also really comfortable hotel. Also really nice staff and a fantastic restaurant. Overall great stay.
I really enjoyed my stay and was pleased that the hotel was within walking distance of the forty footer pool.
Loved everything about the place. We did not get to try the restaurant but the menu sounded amazing and the food I saw coming out to people's tables looked delicious. We only stayed for one night and I was so sad we had to leave - We will definitely be back and I can't wait.
We were traveling across Ireland and chose this as our last stop before the airport. The hotel is very nice. Front desk staff were friendly. Parking was awkward until after check in, was hard to tell where to go. The only issue we had was with the bar staff. We had a hard time getting the waitress to take our order. She made eye contact several times and looked at our empty glasses but did not stop to ask if we wanted another drink. Once we did call her over, I asked if we could take the drink upstairs. She said yes, if we are guests. Why would I ask if I could take it upstairs if we weren’t guests? When she took our order to the bartender, the bartender rolled her eyes. Then she came over for us to pay, but didn’t bring the drinks. We had to go to the bar ourselves to get them after we paid. They were setting on the edge. They did not have walk up bar service. It was an unfortunate experience since the hotel itself was so wonderful.
