The room was ok but could have been better and we had trouble opening the door every time. The pool was quite good but the filtration system was not working so the pool had to be closed. The grounds surrounding the pool and outlook are good. The menu was rather limited and burgers featured rather prominently with not a lot of other choices. The service in the restaurant was very slow even though there was only a few people staying there. The price of drinks was reasonable but we had to buy in drinking water from a local shop. Breakfast was ok but rather limited. The location is quite a way from Apia but we knew that when we made the reservation. Taxi fare to Apia was only 10WST.
Not a bad hotel in my opinion .Rooms are a good size with a comfortable bed .The shower had a rock feature wall as a background which was a nice touch .The food was ok and filled the gap but might have been bit expensive for what it was .Couple of negatives i had were on the first night of stay, where i got eaten by mosquitoes in the room .The other one was from noisy roosters letting me know to wake up, starting from 2 am in the morning !!! The next day i spoke to the staff about it, and they were happy enough to shift me to another room which suited me , as i slept lot better .Plus they must have sprayed that room for mosquitoes , as i got no more bites . I would probably stay here again .
Amazing food, exceptionally clean rooms, beaut pool.
Was bad experience! The staff are unfriendly. Also the place needs a good clean as the pool, lobby was dirty.
“Nice rooms and private”
Comfortable rooms and lovely grounds but needs work in a number of areas. 1. Internet was hopeless - in this day and age that internet is significant especially for business travelers this needs to be improved. Arriving early morning on a flight is hopeless as rooms wont be ready until lunch time Managing car park needs more care - cannot block in guests who travel overnight a frustrating situation Swimming pool cleanliness needs more attention, both pool and surroundings after a night of drunks partying there
