Yamuna Sports Complex

Yamuna Sports Complex is one of the most famous sports complexes of Delhi.  The complex is located in posh area of the city where all the transport facilities of the city are available. Metro station is also very close to the Yamuna Sports Complex. It is owned built and developed by Delhi Development Authority.

The Yamuna Sports Complex was one of the venues of Commonwealth games 2010. The complex has all the sports facilities required with best quality standards possible. Table tennis and archery facilities are of international standards here and it had hosted table tennis and archery events during Commonwealth Games 2010.

The table tennis venue at Yamuna Sports Complex has a capacity of more than 4000. There are two show court tables, eight match tables and ten warm-up tables which is enough to host biggest table tennis tournament of the world. The Yamuna Sports Complex is spread in the area of 26000 sq. m. It also has a basement of same size which makes total pint area of the complex 43765 sq. m. The table tennis area is decorated with the wooden flooring which makes it comfortable for the players to move around during matches.

The Yamuna Sports Complex was built with keeping some basic problems of the city in mind. That is the reason why it has also been allocated a parking area which is enough for more than 500 cars. The archery venue also has a capacity of more than 1500 which is better than the international standards.
